The E326g machine tool sets a new trend in automotive brake repair technology when turning brake discs directly on the wheel suspension. This method provides excellent surface treatment quality, time savings for dismantling and assembling the regenerated disc. The E326g machine tool can be mounted on a car very easily and conveniently using a universal scaled disc that allows connection to any type of hub with 3, 4, 5 holes as well as hubs that protrude significantly outwards, e.g. in off-road vehicles with four-wheel drive. Brake discs are machined simultaneously from both sides using a reciprocating motion during turning, according to the HUNGER patent, which causes the Archimedes spiral to break, which results in high smoothness of the machined surface and prevents the pads from being pushed out of the disc. Since the machine is integrally connected to the wheel hub, there is no effect of the hub bearing clearance on the quality of the machined surface. The E326g machine can also be used as a table machine for machining dismantled discs.
